NEW THIS FALL :: "YOGA WITH LUCE"

Starting September 4th, 2018, I will be offering 4 yoga classes per week in the Lower Hall of the Woodroffe United Church, located at 207 Woodroffe Avenue.

Classes are grouped in 8-Week Sessions and will be held between 9:30 and 10:30 and between 10:45 to 11:45 Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

YOGA WITH LUCE. Maintaining a solid Hatha Yoga tradition, I will offer yoga sequences that honour the intelligence of your body. Each yoga class will mobilize the 7 dimensions of your spine, using blocks and straps to support your practice. Accessible yoga poses will allow you to move your joints through their range of motion, with the intention of improving balance, flexibility and strength. Using your breath to sustain your practice, you will cultivate calm and focus. I will maintain a gentle pace and adapt poses for a variety of needs.


TUESDAYS 
9:30 to 10:30 & 10:45 to 11:45 AM

Dates: September 4th to October 23rd (8-Week Session) NO CLASS October 16 (church bazaar)
Location: Woodroffe United Church, Lower Hall. Parking and entrance on the North side of the church.
What to bring: A yoga mat and a thick beach towel. Eye pillow optional.
Cost: $90 for each 8-week session
Drop-in: $15, cash or cheque (subject to space availability)

THURSDAYS 
9:30 to 10:30 & 10:45 to 11:45 AM

Dates: September 6th to October 25th (8-Week Session) NO CLASS October 18 (church bazaar)
Location: Woodroffe United Church, Lower Hall. Parking and entrance on the North side of the church.
What to bring: A yoga mat and a thick beach towel. Eye pillow optional.
Cost: $90 for each 8-week session
Drop-in: $15, cash or cheque (subject to space availability)

Restorative Yoga in Chelsea




This Restorative Yoga class includes two segments: the first allows you to focus on developing balance, stability and flexibility with an active Hatha Yoga practice for every-Body; the second allows you to relax deeply with restorative yoga poses supported by bolsters, cushions, blocks and yoga straps.

Yoga régénérateur à Chelsea


Cette classe de yoga régénérateur comprend deux segments:
le premier vous permet de développer équilibre, stabilité et flexibilité à l'aide d'une pratique active du yoga Hatha pour tous ; le deuxième vous permet de relaxer profondément à l'aide de postures de yoga régénérateur qui sont appuyées par des traversins, coussins, blocs et courroies.

Yoga for Singers Workshops :: Ateliers de yoga pour chanteurs

Yoga for Cyclists: 6 Poses in 6 Minutes

When I started bicycle touring in 2003, I felt like the muscles of my legs, hips and back never got to rest. As a result, I started stretching every 10 km or so to “rejuvenate” these major muscle groups.  My stretches evolved over the years as I accumulated distance on my saddle (3000+ km per year), experience and integrated what I learned on the yoga mat.

Today, I practice a mindful stretching routine which allows me to ride longer distance while maintaining strength and flexibility. The routine can be completed in 6 minutes flat! The perfect spot is under a tree or along a fence anywhere “en route”. Ideally, it should be repeated at appropriate intervals (e.g. at 30mts; 60mts; 120mts). Click here to access MY TOP 6 POSES.
